Reiyukai France has been promoting its activities through tsudoi or cultural activity since Reiyukai France Office was established in 1979 and acquired an authorization as a juridical person. In 1998, they joined the European Buddhist Association; thus Reiyukai France is gradually taking root in French society. The French-version of the Blue Sutra was published in 1978, the French-version of the Lotus Sutra was published in 1999, and the French-version of the Sutra of the Method of Practice by Meditation on Fugen Bodhisattva was published in 2012.
